Meet Me On Monday

My daughter is bored and driving me crazy right now which doesn't allow me to really concentrate on what I am trying to write so I am just going to jump right in and get this done quick.

What is your favorite food?

That is a tough one.  Food, for me, is just something I have to eat to stay alive.  I pretty much like everything and appreciate a good meal, but more often or not, I have to remind myself to eat.  I could probably eat sushi rolls from the restaurant down the street everyday if I could afford to so I guess that is my favorite food.

What color scheme is your bedroom?

The walls and the duvet cover are in sage green...   I always get mad at my husband and tell him our bedroom looks like a college bachelor pad.   His clothes are always tossed on the chair and his dirty socks are thrown on the floor.  Newspapers and magazines are laying around.  Sometimes I find chewed up gum on his nightstand.  At least there are no pizza boxes under the bed.

3.  Do you carry a donor card?

No, but my drivers license says I am a donor.

4.  In your opinion, is the glass half empty or half full?

I tend to hang out in the middle.

5.  Vanilla or Chocolate?

Neither.  Caramel does it for me. Caramel ice cream, caramel apples, I would probably even eat spiders if they were covered in caramel.

This week my to-do list is minimal and I don't have any cake orders due for a few days.  I am planning to take full advantage of my current down time...maybe I will actually cook for my family for a change.  I hope everyone has a great week!

Can I just say being an avid cake lover that I LOVE your blog and this is my first time visiting? Can we say Blog Love at first sight?

Hooray for us being rule breakers!

I am glad to have found your site via Meet Me on Monday. I am a follower now.

I used to be a cake decorator, too, on an amateur level when I was much younger. I don't have the nerves for it anymore. My hands shake too much. The last one that I did was for my grandparents'
50th anniversary in 1988.

It is such an exciting adventure, isn't it? :)

Have a wonderful day!

I plan on cooking for you and the family in August, if you will let me. It will give you some down time and keep me from bugging the crap out of you due to boredom (much like your daughter was doing earlier lol). I have a few incredible, but easy & healthy recipes that I think you'll love!!

I'm still not gonna eat sushi with you though, blech!

Sometimes I just want cake!

And I agree. I'm hanging out in the middle :)

Yup. Caramel wins over ALL of that! Also, sushi is AMAZING.
